Gabriel Iglesias West Hollywood Concert reviews
How would I know? Parking at ThunderValley was beyond aweful
Before I tell my story I just want to say we love Gabriel Inglesias. That man appears to be very down to Earth and is super hilarious. My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at Orchid Thai in Lincoln (highly recommended) prior to leaving for the show. After dinner we had well over an hour before the show even began and who would have guessed we needed more time than that just to park. I would like to point out the restaurant was less than 5 minutes away. When we arrived the parking was closed outside The Venue @ Thunder Valley Casino (as to be expected). When it comes to the garage parking… horrible. There were literally 100 vehicles fights for zero parking spots. By the time we made it out of the garage to the open lot the show was slated to start in less than 10 minutes with dozens of people in line waiting to enter The Venue. We ultimately waved the white flag in defeat and left. As we were leaving there was still a line of cars an hour+ long on the road waiting to park. I’m sure for the people that showed 2+ hours early more than enjoyed the show. For the rest of us, not so much. If I get the opportunity to see Gabriel Inglesias in the future, I will jump at the opportunity. I will never buy tickets for a show at The Venue @ Thunder Valley Casino ever again. Of all the shows I’ve attended, this is by far the worst. I’m just so very thankful it only cost me $150 to learn that lesson.
Impressive
I have been a fan for many years. This was my first live show I attended for Gabriel. He was funny and his content very current and relevant. What impressed me the most was his compassion for a fan. This fan attended the show although the fan had broken 6 of his ribs. As a Registered Nurse, I understand the pain that is associated with this injury. Gabriel was taking questions from the audience and commenting back. I truly was moved when after hearing this man’s story, Gabriel allowed the fan and his wife to go to the stage area and take a picture with Gabriel. I have the utmost respect for Gabriel as a comedian and a human. I will never forget this night
